Life with AirVac V16

Deep clean power. None of the cable.

The kind of suction you would expect from a corded vacuum, in a stick that lives on the wall and is ready in a second.

Pet hair comes out of the rug

Strong suction and a motorised brush lift embedded dog and cat hair from rugs, carpets and the sofa.

You see the dust you were missing

The green LED headlight shows fine dust and hair along skirting boards and under furniture.

Power changes in one pull

No fiddly buttons: pull the loop under your index finger to step up the power when the carpet needs it.

Emptying stays clean

The 950 ml bin opens from the bottom, so the dust drops straight into the kitchen bin.

Suction

Up to 80 kPa, for rugs as well as hard floors

At full power the floor head pulls up to 80 kPa, enough to drag grit, crumbs and cat litter out of a wool rug instead of pushing them around it.

Three levels cover the whole house: Eco for hard floors and quick tidy-ups, Mid for most carpets and Turbo for the doormat and the pet corner.

Motor

650 W brushless motor at its heart

Brushless motors run cooler and keep their performance for longer than brushed ones. The V16's 650 W unit drives 150 AW of suction power through the wand to the floor head.

From cereal under the high chair to grit in the hall carpet, it picks up on the first pass.

Battery

Up to an hour of cordless cleaning

Eco runs for up to 60 minutes, Mid for around 30 and Turbo for around 20. Clean most of the house on Eco and Mid and one charge goes a long way.

The screen on the back of the body shows the battery level and the power level at a glance.

Anti-tangle LED floor brush

A green light for hidden dust

A row of green LEDs across the front of the floor brush lights the floor at a low angle, so fine dust and pale pet hair stand out on carpet and laminate.

The V-shaped brush pattern is designed to reduce hair wrap, so long hair and pet hair head for the bin rather than the roller.

Pull-loop control

Change power without letting go

The red loop sits right under your index finger. Pull it to step between power levels, and hold it for 5 to 7 seconds to switch on Boost for the toughest patches.

The round screen shows battery bars and the level you are on, so you always know how much cleaning is left.

Fewer stops, cleaner emptying

A 950 ml bin means fewer trips to empty it mid-clean. When it is full, hold it over the bin and press the release: the base opens and the dust drops out.

Your hands stay well away from the dust, and so does the kitchen floor.

Handheld mode

Stairs, sofa, car. Unclip the wand and go.

Take off the wand and the V16 becomes a compact handheld with the same motor. The crevice tool runs along the edge of each stair and between the car seats; the 2-in-1 brush does upholstery, shelves and the dashboard.

Both tools come in the box, along with a wall mount to keep everything together.

How it works

Five stages between the dust and your air

Suction only helps if the dust stays in the machine. The V16 separates it in stages before the air leaves the vacuum.

01

Spin

The cyclone and single-cone separator spin the heavier dirt out of the airflow and into the 950 ml bin.

02

Catch

A stainless-steel mesh filter stops hair and larger particles before they reach the fine filters.

03

Hold

The HEPA filter and rear sponge filter trap fine dust, so cleaner air leaves the vacuum.

What to expect

Your first month with AirVac V16

First clean

The rug looks different

With the green light on, you see how much was hiding in the pile. On Mid or Turbo, it comes out.

Week one

Little and often

Because it hangs by the door, a two-minute tidy-up replaces the big weekly session.

Week two

Handheld becomes a habit

Stairs, sofa and car seats get done with the same machine, in the same session.

Month one

The corded one stays in the cupboard

It just stops coming out.

The question everyone asks

Is a cordless really strong enough?

Fair question. Plenty of cordless vacuums feel weak on carpet. Here is where the V16 is different, and where it is not.

More power where it counts

650 W brushless, 150 AW and up to 80 kPa at the head. On carpet, use Mid or Turbo and the motorised brush lifts the pile while the suction pulls out what is underneath.

The runtime applies to Eco

Up to 60 minutes is the Eco figure. Mid gives around 30 minutes and Turbo around 20, so mix the levels and save Turbo for the worst spots.

Still not sure?

Use it as your only vacuum for 60 days. If it does not suit your home, send it back for a refund.

What it really costs

Three ways to a clean house

Same goal, very different bills over the next few years.

Option 1

A premium big-name cordless

£300 and up

Brilliant on day one. Then you live with a small bin, a short Max runtime and the cost of a new battery once the warranty ends.

Option 2

A budget stick from a marketplace

£60–£90

Cheap to buy, but weak on carpet, few spare parts and nobody to call when it stops working.

Option 3

Common questions

Still deciding?

How powerful is it?

The V16 has a 650 W brushless motor rated at 150 AW of suction power and up to 80 kPa at the floor head (manufacturer figures). Use Mid or Turbo on carpets and rugs, and Boost for the toughest patches.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 60 minutes on Eco, around 30 minutes on Mid and around 20 minutes on Turbo. The screen shows how much charge is left.

How does the pull-loop control work?

Pull the red loop under your index finger to move between power levels. Hold it for 5 to 7 seconds to switch on Boost.

Does hair wrap around the brush?

The floor brush uses a V-shaped anti-tangle design that is built to reduce hair wrap, so long hair and pet hair are carried towards the bin rather than wound around the roller.

How big is the bin, and how do I empty it?

The bin holds 950 ml. Hold it over your kitchen bin and press the release: the base opens and the dust drops out.

What is the filtration like?

A 5-stage sealed system: cyclone, single-cone separator, stainless-steel mesh filter, HEPA filter and rear sponge filter, which keep fine dust inside the vacuum.

What is in the box?

The main body with screen and 950 ml bin, extension wand, anti-tangle LED floor brush, crevice tool, 2-in-1 brush, wall mount and a UK charger.

How do delivery, returns and the warranty work?

Delivery is free and tracked, usually 3–5 working days anywhere in the UK. You have 60 days to try it and return it for a refund, and the vacuum is covered by a five-year warranty from the day it arrives.
